The Milton Speed Skating Club is your place to put on the long blades and feel the speed of Canada’s most successful Olympic sport. We are a growing, volunteer-run club and feature programs for new and experienced skaters. We offer skilled instruction through our excellent coaching team in the recreational and competitive context. We develop youth skaters, but also welcome skaters of all ages. We are affiliated with the Ontario Speed Skating Association and the Speed Skating Canada. You can use your own speed skates, or we will rent skates to you for the season.
The Milton Speed Skating Club offers on-ice training for different age groups and abilities from 5 – 95 years old. Our training is supplemented with a dryland program.
Milton Speed Skating is also proud the host to competitions (typically 2 per year) which brings skaters from across Ontario to compete in traditional events as well as our unique team relay challenge.
The Milton Speed Skating Club was formed in 2004 by a dedicated group of individuals who wanted to see children participate in and eventually become competitive in the sport of speed skating. Our club caters to Youth, 5-18 years of age, but will accept older members and has a family rate plan if parents want to skate with their children. We offer speed skating for people located in Milton, Acton, Burlington, Georgetown, Oakville, Mississauga, and Halton Hills.
